Christmas Tree Christmas Tea - This is Oscar's tradition when putting up the Christmas tree at his house, so we're a little late with this post this year (his tree has been up for weeks!) Anyway Oscar share how he makes Spiced Citrus Mulled Wine below....
- 3 teaspoons of Spiced Citrus tea
- ½ orange ( cut up )
- ½ bottle red wine
- ½ cup of water
- Measure of port
- Measure of spiced rum
- 3 teaspoons sugar
Put the wine in a saucepan with the spiced citrus tea, the orange, sugar, and port and spiced rum. Heat on a low-medium heat in a saucepan until the sugar is dissolved (approx. 10 mins)
Strain and serve in a wine glass or a mug(the wine should be hot never boiling).
Sit back, feet up, Music on, Christmas lights lit, sipping on this delicious Spiced Citrus mulled wine = bliss....
