We are opening Day 2 of our Tea Advent Calendar... Please welcome Mince Pie!! Nothing quite says Christmas like a festive mince pie and now this tea!!

This tea is a beautiful black tea, rich with fig, delicate cinnamon spice and orange. A lightly spiced yet sweet and fruity tea followed by a creamy aftertaste that can only come from a delicious warmed mince pie with a crumbly crust and fresh cream. A truly warming tea.

Mince Pie SUKI Tea

This black tea is an amazing guilt free treat, offering up all the flavour with none of the calories - yes please! A real winter feel. This tea naturally pairs with a lovely warm mince pie. Best enjoyed next to the Christmas tree, under a cosy blanket by the fire!

Tasting Notes: Warming, Fig, Spiced

How we like it:

For the best cup use 200ml of freshly drawn boiled water (98°C) and infuse one heaped teaspoon (2.5g) of Mince Pie tea per cup. Brew for 3-5 minutes. Then the choice is yours.. either enjoy freshly brewed or add a splash of milk/milk alternatives for a sweet creamy cuppa.

Why not try it with a twist?

You can also try your Mince Pi tea with a hint of honey for a little sweetness, this makes a delicious Christmas treat!

Mince Pie Hot Chocolate

Or why not have a go at making our delicious Mince Pie Hot Chocolate recipe? It's really quick and easy to make and it's just perfect for a cosy night in this December! Mmm.. Delicious!!

You may remember this tea appeared exclusively in last year's advent calendar. Good news.. last month we officially launched Mince Pie as one of our teas which is now available to purchase on our website!! So if you enjoyed today's cuppa, you can treat yourself to a box of Mince Pie tea for £4.95!! It's the perfect winter warmer for yourself or as a gift to any tea lover this Christmas.

Remember the little bag of tea inside each box may look like plastic but it's actually a material called Natureflex which can be disposed of in your home food waste bin or home composting. And don't forget to recycle your cardboard boxes! Did you know we have gone plastic free with our new packaging too? Read more here!
