Day 20: Earl Grey Blue Flower

Use our Earl Grey Blue Flower to give this super easy and delicious London Fog recipe a go!

London Fog is a luxurious combination of Earl Grey Blue Flower tea, steamed milk and vanilla.

We made this wintry warmer in the office and it was a huge hit! It's really simple to make at home and tastes sooooo good! Definitely a great way to surprise any visitors this Christmas!

Ingredients:

2 tsp Earl Grey Blue Flower

1/2 cup of boiling water

1 cup of milk (regular/almond/ coconut)

1tsp Vanilla syrup or good quality vanilla extract

Method:

Bring water to the boil and steep the tea for five minutes in a half cup of hot water. Then strain the tea leaves out.

While you're waiting for the tea to steep, set a small saucepan of milk on the hob over medium heat. Don't allow it to boil. Whisk the milk for about five minutes, until it's hot and frothy "for a nice fog-like effect". We used the milk frother on our coffee machine but heating the milk on the hob will have a similar effect.

Next, add a half cup of milk to the tea and stir in your vanilla syrup/ extract and enjoy!

This is a great 'pick-me-up'. Bergamot has a natural boosting effect on your mood, so brilliant for a grey, winter day!

Let us know if you give it a go @SukiTea
