This is a sophisticated blend of gentle and aromatic esteemed Rwandan Rukeri black tea and the best Sicilian bergamot oil. The addition of Blue Cornflowers makes this a visually stunning tea.  An exciting classic, big flavoured earl grey tea.

Brewing Instructions: Use freshly drawn boiled water. Infuse one heaped teaspoon per cup and brew for 2-5 minutes… great with or without milk!

Green Tea Sencha

Suki-9

Light & Fresh

Green Tea: Sencha translates as steamed and is a very traditional technique of keeping the flavour packed in the tea. Unlike roasting which brings other characteristics, this is a light and fresh cup. This organic tea is our green tea staple green tea for everyday use, an all day tea that can be brewed up to 4 times.

This is a smooth, gentle, fragrant tea if brewed for 3 minutes. A deeper flavour if brewed for longer. Bursting with antioxidants, this is a must for every kitchen cupboard. This tea works wonderfully well with seafood, salads or chicken.

Brewing Instructions:  Not usually a green tea fan? Are you used to a bitter tasting, unappealing green tea? This is a problem which is easily solved! Are you using boiling water to prepare your tea? Instead the optimum temperature for green tea is 70-80°C. Green tea leaves are particularly sensitive due to their lack of processing. The boiling water burns the delicate leaf and this is what causes the unpleasant, bitter taste. Also, be careful not to steep the green tea for too long, we recommend 3 minutes, definitely no longer than 5 minutes. Your green tea, made the correct way should be light, yet flavourful, with subtle tasting notes shining through the cup.

First Flush Dajeeling

First Flush Darjeeling

Light, Floral, Crisp & Muscatel

Black Tea: First Flush Darjeeling is some of the most prized and expensive tea on the market. It is so special and exclusive that it is often referred to the “Champagne” of teas. Darjeeling first flush signifies the start of new spring teas to be plucked, located in the Himalayan foothills, the first tea buds and two leaves to burst out with the first signs of the Spring sunshine, following the bitter Winter months. These early leaves and buds are usually more delicate and tender.

Brewing Instructions: Brew one heaped teaspoon per cup with just off the boil water, 90° - 95° for only 2 minutes, removing the leaves to preserve a pleasant astringency and avoiding a harsh bite. Darjeeling is best appreciated without milk … or for a moment of escapism to the Himalayas, immerse yourself in the Indian culture and add a lump of sugar.
