Recipe 21: London Fog Iced Tea

mmm I like this a latte...

Have a go at this Earl Grey Latte - another great way to serve up our best selling Earl Grey Tea!

What you’ll need for this Iced Tea

1 pack Earl Grey Blue Flower Tea

Milk of your choice (full fat, semi-skimmed, skimmed, soya, almond....)

Vanilla

1 Suki Teapot

1 Measuring Spoon

A Kettle

1 Jug of Ice

Saucepan

Blender (or hand blend if you don't have!)

Method

Put the kettle on to Boil

Add one spoonful of Earl Grey Blue Flower into the teapot

Add the boiling water, only a small amount until the leaves are just covered, leave to Brew for 7 minutes (this will make a concentrated blend)

Allow brewed Earl Grey tea to cool for a few minutes,

Next you'll need to make a 50-50 mixture of water and milk (to suit your jug/serving glass)

Add the sweetener while ilk/water combo is still cool, pour your mixture into a saucepan and heat on a medium heat, heat through gently.

Strain the Earl Grey leaves from the teapot. Add an equal volume of ice to the tea. Blend until smooth, and serve. Alternatively, pour the milk/tea mixture over ice to skip the blending stage. Enjoy!
