About this Product
Yerba (herb /Spanish) Mate (beverage) is a shrub like leaf, infused and consumed as a hot drink with origins in Brazil later spreading cultivation to Argentina, Chile, Peru and Bolivia. It's south America's popular choice of hot drink, their equivalent of everyday tea. We love it but couldn’t help tinker with it. The addition of orange and liquorice sweetens it to give a slight hint of chocolate orange.
Ingredients
Brazilian Mate, Liquorice root, orange peel, orange blossoms, natural flavourings. Contains liquorice. People suffering from hypertension should avoid excessive consumption.
How We Like It
Brew 1 teaspoon (2.5g) per 200ml water. Or 1 Suki scoop per stump teapot. Infuse in freshly boiled water (98°C) for 3-6 minutes.
