Are you getting ready to celebrate the Royal Wedding this weekend?
There are many places across the country offering up different Afternoon Tea options while you watch the excitement unfold throughout the day, but maybe you're planning your very own Royal Tea Party at home? Well we're here to help! We have a few suggestions below to help you toast the happy couple!
Start the day off with a good hearty breakfast, Royal Wedding style of course!! It'll be a cup of Belfast Brew, with Poached eggs, Bacon, Smashed Avocado and Sourdough
Now forget Bucks Fizz - we've got a new alternative, prefect for a Royal! Tea + Prosecco! Yes you are reading this right! A number of teas work well with Prosecco but for the Royal Wedding we've picked one of our favourite blends, Oolong Orange Blossom, brew for approx 4 minutes and add a teaspoon honey, swirl around a frozen glass to coat it the champagne flute, pour a little in the bottom and then top with Prosecco)
Join the Royal couple in their choice of cake by enjoying some tea + CAKE! As the couple have chosen the delicate flavours of Lemon and Elderflower for their wedding cake we are serving up our White Tea Elderflower for the afternoon, and with this fab Summer weather, we have opted to enjoy the elderflower tea as an Iced Tea! Elderflower cold brew is so easy to make, simple add a few scoops of the tea into a large jug - leave for a few hours and enjoy over ice!
Next it's on to the speeches and the party! We have all the Tea cocktails ready at this point....here's just a few suggestions to help you celebrate in style all evening!
Maybe you'll leave the alcohol for the others and you'd prefer a Cold Brew Tea? Our Goji Berry & Pomegranate makes a great Cold Brew tea - which you can pop in the fridge and enjoy throughout the day! Whatever your plans are, enjoy the Royal Wedding and make sure to tag us in your Tea Party Pics!
