This morning for Day 4 of our 2 week Matcha Challenge we are enjoying a nutritious Matcha Breakfast Bowl. It's really easy to make and is a great way to start the morning.

One reason why it's a great start to the day is the slow release energy you get from matcha. This provides you with sustained energy for up to 8 hours. Matcha also provides the full nutritional benefits of the whole tea leaf and therefore a higher concentration of green tea antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and fibre.

This breakfast bowl is simple to prepare, easy to enjoy and rich in antioxidants and nutrients. Follow our recipe below!

What You'll Need

Matcha Breakfast Bowl

Yoghurt of your choice
Flax and Chai Seeds


We went for a lovely blueberry organic yoghurt for our breakfast bowls. Add yoghurt to a bowl, roughly 1/2 cup, but put as much as you like in!

Sift matcha powder over yoghurt and stir in well until blended. Sprinkle blueberries and seeds over the top. Drizzle honey over bowl and enjoy!
