For day 12 of our 2 week matcha challenge we are treating ourselves to some delicious matcha marshmallow crispies. They are super tasty and so easy to make. We are enjoying a few of these at SUKI HQ with our morning cuppa. It is Friday after all!
What You'll Need
2 tbsp Matcha
5 tbsp Unsalted Butter
300g Marshmallows
8 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup of white chocolate chips
1 tsp Salt
Method
Grease a baking dish with butter. In a large pot, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. While melting pour in marshmallows and stir until completely melted. We used mini marshmallows as they were quicker to melt.
Remove pot from heat and add Rice Krispies. Stir until covered in marshmallow. Leave to cool for 2 minutes.
Stir white chocolate chips and salt into mixture. Then transfer to baking dish and press into an even layer.
Leave for approximately 45 minutes at room temperature. Once set dust matcha powder over and cut into squares. Finally, enjoy with a pot of your favourite tea!
