About this Product

Russian Caravan Tea is a blend of exquisite black tea from China and Assam combined with Chun Mee green tea, plus the addition so smoked black tea produces the characteristic taste of this Russian blend. It is described as an aromatic and full-bodied tea with a sweet, malty taste. It's name originates from the 18th century camel caravans that facilitated the transcontinental tea trade along the old silk and spice trade route. It took at least half a year to make the six-thousand-mile journey from the Chinese border to Russia, and the voyage was said to be harsh. Not everyone’s cup of tea but this Russian Caravan Tea evokes thoughts of roasted chestnuts on an open fire, sunsets and smoking jackets. A very elegant tea.

Ingredients

Black tea from China and Assam, Chun Mee green tea.
