2017 was an incredibly busy year for us at Suki Tea here is just a quick look back on our 2017 adventures....we are looking forward to seeing what 2018 has in store for us!

We had a number of source trips this year, in May Zoë and Annie headed off to Rwanda in May to meet the tea farmers and plantation workers in Sorwathe, check out our tea journeys pages for more!

In November Oscar and Annie celebrated 12 years in business with a return trip to their first ever shared source trip. Not only did Oscar and Annie revisit familiar tea estates in beautiful Assam, they spent time tasting new teas with a few of our amazing tea partners and stopped off in the famous auction-house in Kolkata! They also managed to squeeze in 2 days in stunning Nepa, a first time visit for Suki Tea, there they learnt all about their tea culture in Nepal whilst sourcing some exquisite rare hand rolled teas for the brand new, soon to launch "Suki Editions" Microlot teas!

2017 also brought us to Poland to catch up with our old friends at Java (have you tried their coffee??). Oscar took to Greece to meet our new friends in TAF

Zoë and Oscar headed to Seattle, our first ever American Expo, this is where we started our journey into US export and of course we soaked up those chilled Seattle Vibes. Next stop was Vancouver, here Zoë and Oscar explored brand new markets and checked out the local tea and coffee scene in the stunning Vancouver.

Exhibitions and shows of course featured greatly in 2017 as with every year we do these as an excuse to invite customers to come and see what’s new and exciting as well as meeting a few new faces. This year we can't wait to show you what we have planned for London Coffee Festival!! BRAND new things are coming! (EEEKKK!)

In 2017 we introduced some fab new teas to our range – Turkish Delight, Green Tea Mint, Iced Apple, Iced Raspberry and Vanilla, Spiced Pumpkin Pie, Mint Choc Chai and the incredible Matcha – always innovating! We have a few exciting blends up our sleeves for 2018, plus the brand new "Suki Editions", a range of Rare Microlot teas some of which were handpicked by Zoë, Oscar and Annie on their travels this year.

We've spent a lot of time researching and planning for what promises to be a very exciting 2018 locally and internationally for Suki Tea. Stayed tuned for all the news as well as a few big announcements, but for now we'll leave you with our highlights of 2017.
