About this Product
A citrus and slightly spicy tea..or much more. This lovingly designed blend of herbs and spices has a balanced taste yet gives room to let each individual flavour stand proud. The journey begins. . . The fragrant citrus of the Lemongrass hits the palette followed shortly after with a spicy hit from the ginger and black pepper. Then your taste buds get a blast of the root of glycyrrhizin glabra which contains the natural glycyrrhizic acid (CH62O16), a complex molecule which is 30 times sweeter than sugar.... otherwise simply known as .......Liquorice. Such a small amount that even if you don’t like it normally it works in this blend. So we have citrus, spice and sweet all in the space of maybe only 2 or 3 seconds, the flavours combine and interchange in harmony then you get the subtle coolness of mint. A mixture of Spearmint and Peppermint leave a fresh tingle in the mouth and the taste journey is complete ready for another sip. This compliments Thai food really well and is great first thing in the morning or after a meal.
